Made in USA

Products manufactured in the United States, often indicating higher labor standards and reduced shipping emissions.

"Made in USA" is a label indicating that a product was manufactured in the United States. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires that products labeled as "Made in USA" must be "all or virtually all" made in the U.S., meaning all significant parts and processing must be of U.S. origin.

Benefits of Made in USA products often include:

  • Stricter labor standards and worker protections
  • Environmental regulations that may be more stringent than other countries
  • Reduced carbon footprint from shorter shipping distances
  • Support for domestic jobs and communities
  • Easier to verify manufacturing practices

However, "Made in USA" alone doesn't guarantee non-toxic materials or organic ingredients. For the safest products, look for Made in USA combined with certifications like GOTS, GREENGUARD, or OEKO-TEX.
