OEKO-TEX Standard 100 is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. Established in 1992, it stands for customer confidence and high product safety.
If a textile article carries the STANDARD 100 label, you can be certain that every component of the article - including thread, buttons, and other accessories - has been tested for harmful substances and that the article is harmless for human health.
The test criteria are updated at least annually and include substances that are regulated by law as well as chemicals that are known to be harmful but not yet regulated.
